Oaxaca Sabe Restaurant Week

0

Oaxaca Sabe is back!

Oaxaca is famous for it’s amazing food and this eight day culinary festival is the perfect way to try out some of the city’s best restaurants.

Now in its second year, Oaxaca Sabe was created in 2014 by a group of more than twenty local restaurateurs.  Their aim was to celebrate the great variety of food in Oaxaca by offering food lovers special menus at a reasonable price.

This year there are twenty four restaurants participating in the festival and each one will offer a unique, high quality menu for only $250.  This price includes 3 courses, an alcoholic drink (beer, wine or mezcal), and a tip.

With each restaurant responsible for developing its own menu the dining options are extensive.  Participating restaurants include Los Danzantes, Las Quince Letras, Morocco, Origen, La Toscana, Sabina Sabe, Casa Crespo, El Mezquite, Casa Oaxaca Cafe Restaurante, Gourmand Delicatessen, Cocina Azul, Zandunga, Tres Bistro, El Asador Vasco, and Pitiona.

The menus will be available daily (lunch and dinner), from the 16-23 of March.  The festival will close on the 24th with a special gastronomical evening at the Museo Belber Jimenez.  This evening will be free for any customers who have sampled four menus during the week, or you can buy a ticket for $250.

Bookings can be made through the website, at oaxaca.sabe@gmail.com, or by contacting the restaurants directly.

Don’t miss this opportunity to explore the wonderful restaurants of Oaxaca!
