Fans of opera rejoice! This August Teatro Macedonio Alcalá and Teatro Juárez will host the third annual Festival de Ópera de Oaxaca!
Artistic Director and conductor Linus Lerner and soprano Maribel Sánchez have put together a great program that will include the presentation of two full-length operas: Puccini’s Gianni Schicchi and Mozart’s Le Nozze de Figaro, and three gala concerts. The festival will feature over 100 vocalists from Mexico, the U.S., Italy and Brazil.
