This Saturday, October 3 the Frente en Defensa del Cerro del Fortín will host a special concert in defence of the Cerro del Fortin.
The group seeks to halt and reverse the destruction of the natural and cultural heritage that is being carried out in the Cerro del Fortin for the construction of the new convention centre.
Featuring local musicians Orquesta Pasatono, Proyecto Oaxaqueño de Jazz, Raices, Tapacamino Colectivo Musiquero, Ana Díaz Ensamble, Ánima, De Mary y Tierra and Byt Band the concert will be held in the Plazuela del Carmen Alto (between Garcia Vigil and M Alcalá), and will begin at 4pm. Entry is free.
No to the construction of the Convention Center in the Cerro del Fortin!
