Letra Capital Oaxaca 2016 is a cultural festival that will be held in the Biblioteca Pública Central from 22 to 25 July 2016.
Held over four days the festival will open at 1pm on Friday, July 22 and will include a range of diverse activities related to books, design, the performing arts and audiovisual media. And best of all, all the activities are free!
With artists and creatives from Oaxaca and around Mexico participating, the festival will feature a design market, workshops, reading and storytelling activities, concerts by Yeudiel y los Melómanos and the Banda Infantil y Juvenil Narciso Lico Carrillo, and theatre performances from Mx Teatro Oaxaca. Writer Fernando Lobo will share his new book ´Friquis´and there will be a fashion parade and video projections. See below for the full program or follow the event on Facebook here.
