With the intention of promoting the value that mezcal clearly deserves within the industry, DUBA Festival will be held from July 25 to 29 on the terrace of Casa de Barro.
Organized by the National Chamber of the Mezcal Industry (CANAIMEZ) president Luis Spain García, along with the treasurer, Dena Chagoya, spoke at the press conference about the importance that should be taken in caring for this traditional drink. As part of the festival they have prepared a variety of activities including mezcal tastings and degustations, live music, artistic exhibitions, talks on the history of mezcal, demonstrations and workshops on the production process.
The entrance fee is $350 pesos, which includes admission and a kit that will be provided at the event.
