When most people think of Mexico they think of tequila or mezcal but did you know that Mexico also has an impressive wine industry?
Viña Tulps has the honor of hosting the second Festival del Vino en Oaxaca, a three-day event offering tastings of more than 100 types of wines from the best wine cellars in Mexico and around the world: Santo Tomás, González Byass, Ferrer, La Castellana, De Martino, Casa Madero and many more.
This sensational event will be held at Museum Belber Jimenez from July 31 to August 2 and will include wine tastings, workshops and conferences, as well as artistic and cultural exhibitions, film and music. Workshops include ‘Aromas and Sensations’ and ‘Impossible Pairings’, as well as practical advice on ‘How to choose a good wine’ and ‘How to open a bottle of wine’. Passes are available for one, two, or three days and cost $240, $390, or $490 respectively. Passes give you access to all scheduled events and the degustation area. You’ll also receive a complimentary Reidel wine glass.
