If you want to see just how talented the young people of Oaxaca are make sure you head down to Jardín el Pañuelito this weekend for the ‘Expo Emprende Joven’.
This annual exhibition and sale is now in its third year and will feature the products of over 34 youth entrepreneurs who are part of the government’s ‘Auto Empleo Juvenil’ or ‘Youth Self Employment’ program. Timed to coincide with International Youth Day the expo will run for three days.
There will also be talks and workshops on Friday and Saturday so if you have an idea or would like to be part of the program, don’t miss it.
