Oaxaca is celebrating the 282nd anniversary of the dedication of the Cathedral of Oaxaca with a series of four concerts for reconciliation and peace.
The series will start on Thursday, 9 July with a presentation of Sacred Marian Music by the Anacrusa Ensemble. There will also be performances on the 10, 11 and 12 July including Gregorian Chants, sacred music performed by the cathedral’s children’s choir, and finally Mozart’s Coronation Mass performed by the Orquesta Esperanza Azteca Oaxaca.
All performances will be held inside the cathedral at 8pm and are free.
The concerts will also be transmitted live at www.arquioax.org.
