If you’re a fan of mezcal, chances are you’ve seen the ‘Agave, mezcales y diversidad’ map below.
The map is a great educational tool that includes information about the magueys’ biodiversity, botanical, local and common names, how the climates and terrains vary, as well as different distillation techniques.
Currently, the map is only available in Spanish however there is a petition on Change.org that is requesting that the Comisión Nacional para el Conocimiento y uso de la Biodiversidad (CONABIO) translate and print an authorised version of the map in English.
If you want to support the petition click here to add your name.
